Step 2: Application Method - Opaque Vinyl
Dry Pasting
Best for matte, gloss, or textured opaque films.
Peel off a small section of the backing paper and align carefully.
Stick lightly at one end to hold position.
Using your squeegee, press from the center outward, working in slow passes.
Use gentle heat to soften the vinyl — this helps it conform around curves and edges.
For corners or recessed panels, heat and tuck the vinyl properly using your fingers or a soft tool.
Trim excess carefully with a sharp blade for a factory-like finish.
Reheat tucks and edges to seal the adhesive fully.
